Thursday at Daytona International Speedway, Kelly Bires and Wood Brothers/JTG Racing co-owner Tad Geschickter confirmed Bires will drive the remaining 17 Busch races of the season in Jon Wood's No. 47 Ford. Wood has lost 20 pounds over the last four weeks since being prescribed medication for attention deficit disorder. He has since been told he doesn't have ADD, is no longer ill and is planning to return to the Truck Series next week, while Bires' learning curve has been escalated.
